Remotely manage one to three projects, part time or full time. Develop and supervise a full task list for each project and insure that it gets implemented. This will require learning and implementing some of the tasks yourself and coordinating with vendors and our current staff to implement other tasks.
- Acquisitions Management - Research acquisition targets in our sub-industrial space. Review products spec and pricing vs competitors. Review business details – size, employees, business complexity, staff quality. Assist in data transfer – extract data from business and restructure and import into our system.
- Product Line Relocation – Manage/coordinate all aspects of small industrial assembly product line move. Determine infrastructure needed, documentation and data to transfer, critical steps (training, inventory etc) and move process.
- Product Development – Develop vendors and technical specs for products. (Both in the light industrial and home improvement space) Manage product release of purchased complete products. Coordinate development of technical documentation, and marketing material. Manage initial deliveries of product and coordinate that with distributors and internal promotion activities.
Some technical skills required, for example understanding of basic electricity and materials.
Must have experience managing projects and getting things done. Some depth of experience in a particular tangential field. At the end of the day we are looking for people that can get along with others, manage details in an organized fashion and get things done. A doer with some technical interest.
